Six Temple Run Hints

Head Start

To get a Head Start in Temple Run, you need to go into the store, scroll down into Utilities, and purchase the 'boost ahead 1000m' item for 2,500 coins.
To activate it, double tap the center of the screen.

Mega Bonus

To get the Mega Bonus, whereby you need to fill the bonus meter four times (I.e. Four lots of 100 coins), you need to collect 100 coins at a time without tripping. Repeat this four times in one run to get the Mega Bonus.

Miser Run/Allergic to Gold Hints

When trying to get these two trophies, which reward you for ignoring coins over set distances, it is a good tactic to pause the game at the start of the turn so that you can see where the coins are. Then, unpause it and try to get the trophy.

If you tilt to one side, it should give you more time to avoid the coins too.

End Game

Unlike most other games, there is no 'end' to Temple Run. As the levels are randomly generated, you can (and will) keep going forever!

A Note on Explorers

You are given the option of buying multiple Explorers in Temple Run. Note, however, that there is no difference between any of them - you are much better off spending your money on power-ups and utilities.

Spartan Objective

To get the Spartan objective, which is described as getting to 1 million points without using any power-ups, ensure you don't collect any power-ups (obviously) or use any resurrections.

Once you hit 1 million points, you can simply kill yourself to get the achievement.

If you use power-ups after 1 million points, it will not give you the achievement, so be sure to die, or kill yourself, as soon as possible after you hit the target score.

Temple Run is very simple. If I remember right, there aren't even any instructions. You continue running out of the mouth of a cave much like Indiana Jones did near the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Chasing you though isn't a boulder, but the evil demonic monkeys! And with drums beating in the background, the fun begins.

Temple Run Cheats Codes

NOTE: These codes have been reported to only work on version 1.3 of Temple Run, also possibly only on jailbroken devices where you can get the keyboard to appear (allowing you to enter the cheats). There are no other cheats for Temple Run, so if you cannot get the keyboard to appear on your version, there is no way to get these cheats to work for you.

The original cheat was to unlock invincibility and additional characters, using the codes below while on the Title Screen:

Unlimited Invincibility: samhines86

Unlockable Characters: rxh7nigh

Temple Run Unlockable Characters Guide!

Who is the best character to use in Temple Run?

Once you've been playing a lot of Temple Run, you'll probably have amassed quite a few coins. Head to the store and check out some of the unlockable characters to fit your personality and play style.

There are currently (as of 1.4.1) severn characters to choose from. Here's the rundown:

Guy Dangerous
-Guy Dangerous is "just your average explorer." As the default character in Temple Run, you'll probably use Guy the most.

Scarlett Fox
-Scarlett Fox is next up. As a "cunning escape artist" Scarlett is a natural fit for Temple Run. It'll take 10,000 coins to unlock this character.

Barry Bones
-Barry Bones is a "city cop with an attitude." You'd think this makes him tougher, but he can easily succumb to monkeys, tree roots, and drop-offs just like any other character. You'll need 10,000 coins to unlock Barry.

Karma Lee
-Karma Lee is the next unlockable character. At 25,000 coins, you'll find Karma Lee to be quite the expensive unlock, but with "the fastest legs in the Far East," it's probably worth it.

Montana Smith
-Montana Smith probably reminds you of another adventurer. In fact, Temple Run's store description says that he is "the second greatest explorer ever." At 25,000 coins, you'd think you'd unlock the greatest explorer ever, but it's nice to know Montana Smith doesn't claim to be anything he's not.

Francisco Montoya
-Francisco Montoya is a conquistador on the hunt for gold. You'll have had to be on the hunt for gold for quite some time since it costs 25,000 coins to unlock him.

Zack Wonder
-Zack Wonder is the last unlockable character added to Temple Run. You wouldn't think a football star would find himself in a jungle temple, but Wonder is there for you to play as if you've got 25,000 coins lying around for the unlock.

Stick with Temple Run Cheats because we'll keep you tuned in to any new characters added to Temple Run in the future.

Temple Run Cheats - Double Resurrection in One Run

To perform two resurrections in one run, you first need to purchase the two resurrections.

Then, double tap the screen before dying to come back to life the first time. Once you travel for at least 1000 metres, you will be able to repeat this a second time.

Remove Adverts In Temple Run

If you activated the advertisements that appear in Temple Run to get more coins, and now want to get rid of them, you can do so by going into Settings on the home screen, then General, then Date and Time, then set it years into the future (5 should do it).

The adverts are set to disappear eventually, and this will speed it up!

Temple Run Tricks

Temple Run Tricks

Temple run is a straight forward game developed by Imangi Studios that is currently released in iOS systems. Soon, the temple run game application will be made available for android market as well. Surely, many will be able to experience what this game App is all about that had made it to the top in the free App market.

Barrages of blockades

In the game play, there are four main blockages that can hinder the hunter, which is controlled by the player, in fulfilling his goal. In this game App, the evil masked monkeys are not the real enemies but these blockages that comes in a player's path of success. These things are the following:

Endless water. In the game play, the whole temple is surrounded with water which can bring you down in any minute you took the wrong move. This can drown the player making him subjected to his failure and loss. At most times, this can occur every time a player makes a turning point in the temple wall. To safely move beyond, he needs to create a 90 degrees turn by flicking the screen.

Wood slips. Since the setting of the game is in some ancient temple, then it is granted that woods are found everywhere that sometimes it covers some part of the temple paths. This gives the player harder time in bypassing this natural structure. In this way, a player needs to exert extra careful with it because it can leave a player being eaten by the monkeys and could end his life at its second time of being tripped of.

Wood-walls. One of the game's controls is allowing the player to jump high to avoid some of those obstacles. But in some cases, these obstacles seem to be so high that a hunter could not jump any higher on it. In these cases, a player needs to slide. The act of sliding is very important in this game play and can be used as a good strategy in performing things right in the game.

Firewalls. In the game App, there is also such thing as firewalls that can burn your controlled hunter down. This can be done by avoiding the fire by choosing either the act of jumping over the area or simply by sliding down.

Power Ups

In the game App, there is also a thing or a feature known as power ups. These are small packages that can be of great help in the player's game. There are some areas which a certain power up can affect to and these are:
Big coin. A big coin can help a player in making the most out of his coins. This gives immediate coming of money in his treasury box which he can use in purchasing items from the shop.

Magnet. From the name itself, this power up can greatly help a player by attracting money or coins that surrounds the player. In this way, he needs not to exert much effort in gaining his utmost resources because they will fly freely to you. At the same time, the coins you acquire becomes more valuable too because they are acquired from this special feature in the game.

Invisibility. This feature can give a player the chance to come across to anything, fire or wood, and could do nothing because it gives him the chance of becoming invisible.

Speed/invisibility. This feature deals with the player's speed combined with a little invisibility. It can help a lot in boosting the player's speed in running.

The ones listed above are just some of the features which a player can definitely use as a tricks or a strategy in his game. There are still a lot more to discover in regards with the temple run tricks and strategies in the game play and, surely, you can discover it you yourself.

Keep Calm and Play Temple Run History.

Temple Run has made it's way into app crossovers. This picture was posted here.

I had never seen this type of picture before, so I investigated and found that it is from an app called Keep Calm and Carry On

So what is this all about? The app description summarises it well

Created by the British Ministry of Information during World War II, and rediscovered more than half a century later, the Keep Calm and Carry On poster has a message that still resonates today... and, we might add, practically begs to be revamped, parodied, and otherwise meddled with for fun!

Keep Calm and Carry On for iOS makes it easy to customise your own unique variation of this classic. Change the words, the colours, and the icon - pick from 100 icons, or use the custom icon creator to make your own icon from a photo or other picture. You can add your own background image, use the Union Jack, or keep it simple with a solid colour. The text can be opaque, translucent, outlined, or with a shadow.

Amuse and impress your friends with your sparkling wit and imagination (wit and imagination not included in purchase price).

Temple Run Tips : Basics,Power-ups, Advanced

Every once in a while I run into an addictive iOS game that I just can’t stop playing. There was Angry Birds, Cut the rope, Civilization, Game Dev Story, Tiny Tower, Smurf Village (I played it until I unlocked Smurfette :-/ ) and now it’s Temple Run. It made my bathroom breaks a lot more entertaining (kidding! ). I just can’t put it down. It’s quite addictive and makes you want to play one more game so you can beat your high score. Currently, I’m at 2.9 5.7 mil and I don’t think I am going to beat it any sooner. I am sure the people on the leaderboard and exploiting a glitch. There is no way anyone can rack up 2 billion odd score in that game. Getting to 2 million was hard enough. So I thought I’d leave some tips here so you can benefit from my experience.

Basics: If you haven’t played the game before, I recommend you get it from the iTunes store. It’s free. The game is pretty simple and it starts with a tutorial so it’s not hard to play at all. You swipe up to jump, sideways to turn in the direction you want to turn and swipe down to slide under tree stumps and fire. That’s easy enough. There are coins to collect on the way and power-ups that make your life easy.

Power-ups:

Boost: This makes the game go into auto-pilot mode. The amount of distance this power-up stays active is dependent on how much you upgrade this in the store.
Invisibility: This makes you invisible and invulnerable to all the obstacles around you. But you do have to make all the turns when necessary.
Magnet: This lets you automatically collects all the gold coins as you go along without having to tilt the phone. With upgrades, it will last longer and doubles/triples the value of the collected gold coins.
Mega Coin: You get 100 gold coins and with full upgrade you can get up to 150 coins. These gold coins can help you buy upgrades.

Advanced:
Once you master the basics, you need to make sure you start using the gold coins to upgrade your power-ups.
Start with upgrading the magnet. A fully upgraded magnet not only lasts longer, but it also triples the value of gold coins. This means you’ll be collecting all the gold coins in your way and also racking up points from the triple valued gold coins.
Upgrade the coin values next. This means that you’ll have a better chance of getting double value coins after 1000m and triple value coins after 2000m.
After that I suggest upgrading invisibility and boost. These will basically increase the amount of time the power-ups will last.
Finally, upgrade the Mega Coin. It will only increase the number of gold coins by 50 but it’s something to use your gold coins on once you have everything.
Get some angel wings as this will help you resurrect once you’re dead. The power lasts only 30 seconds after you’ve activated it. You can use another angel wing after another 1000 m.

That’s all I can remember for now. Hopefully this will help you make a new score and help you understand the system better. Good luck and happy running.

6 Tips to Get a High Score On Temple Run!

6 Tips to Get a High Score On Temple Run!

Here are a few tips I've learned along the way that I use consistently use in order to achieve the best score.

Tips -1 Score> Coins – If you are starting to get a good score try to forget the coins. Focus on only aiming a higher score. The coins will come if you keep on going. So basically, you do not push your runner to the side of the game, try keeping your runner in the middle.

Tips -2 Slide-hop Slide – Basically, you'll sometimes slip through a barrier, then there is a gap immediately after. Fear not! You can hop right after you and take your character in moving from his stubborn position to jump.

Tips -3 Danger, High Speeds – After you've used the speed upgrade you will have a few seconds with invisibility and normal speed. During this time, the game may automatically move you around the board, to fit their needs. If you're too hectic and move your player when he is still in invisibility, the game may glitch and you will be sent into the water. It's better if you just wait until invisibility is completely eradicated, then you start playing.

Tips -4 Double Jump – In temple run you can find that if you run into a difficult task of double jumping in between two gaps. Normally, you're allowed one second to flick twice, or you fall into the water. Diligence is what you need, to be able to quickly understand you must jump twice.

Tips -5  Speeds – You can buy high speed for an amount of coins, I think its 2500 for the small-speed and 10000 for the large. They're pointless and once you've finished you're running faster than you would be at regular pace, so technically, you'll be gaining more speed than you usually would.

Tips -6 Coin Collecting Early- At the start of the first 3000 meters, it's a lot easier to collect the coins and this will get you at least 300 coins in each round. I would try to get every coin, before it gets too hard. Collecting any coins will also add bonus total score for your high score.

Temple Run Cheat WITHOUT JAILBREAK

Temple Run Cheat WITHOUT JAILBREAK

EVERYONE, if powerups don't show up its ok it happens to me too. you have to delete the app, then reinstall it and try again. BUT DONT WORRY you're multiplier will still save, you will just have to get all your money again. When you reinstall, buy only boost so there is more of a chance that you will get it. sorry about the inconvience.

-watch entire video, especially last minute
steps
1. Turn on tutorial in options
2. At first turn swipe to side twice very fast
3. Step 2 takes some practice but you will eventually get it. It took me like 10 times to get it.

Reminder: wait for a boost to multiply score 5 times faster, then leave your device on overnight charging

If this worked for you, please leave just a like or comment, thats all.
